A Family Journey into Coffee Farming

In 2000, Elisabete Martins and her family made a bold transition from running a successful supermarket business of 23 years into the world of coffee farming. What began as a way to diversify their income quickly grew into a shared passion that would shape their future.

Elisabete’s husband, drawing on his earlier experience working as a charcoal maker on a farm, was already familiar with Fazenda Cachoeira and recognised its potential. When the opportunity to purchase the farm arose, the family embraced it with enthusiasm, excited to begin a new chapter together.

A True Family Effort

From the very beginning, the venture was driven by a strong sense of family collaboration. Elisabete, her husband, their children, and even their daughters-in-law all played a role in establishing and developing the farm, each contributing to its growth and success.

As the years went on, their commitment deepened. They expanded their operations by acquiring a second property and became fully immersed in the coffee industry, dedicating themselves to refining their craft.

Driven by Passion and Progress

Today, the Martins family continues to evolve, constantly learning and improving their methods. Their dedication to quality and innovation is at the heart of everything they do, with a clear focus on producing exceptional coffee.

What started as a practical decision has grown into a lasting legacy—one rooted in hard work, unity, and a genuine love for coffee.
