For 45 years, The Edge has been powered by people. While Alice and Chris first brought the vision to life, it’s the incredible team around them who have shaped the journey ever since. From managers steering the ship, to our wholesale team building lasting partnerships, from the roastery crafting every blend to the café team and baristas serving each cup with care — every person has played their part.
The Edge is more than a business; it’s a collective of passionate individuals, past and present, who each contribute in their own way to keeping us growing, brewing, and moving forward together.

Alice & Chris Edgcumbe-Rendle
Alice and Chris have been the foundation of EDGE for 45 years, with countless stories and achievements that have shaped who we are today.
After many years leading from the forefront of the business, they have stepped back from day-to-day operations but remain a valued source of guidance and support.
Stewart Cumming
Stewart joined EDGE in 2023 and has already experienced a whirlwind journey, from taking part in charity runs to creating special Father's Day blends and helping lead the opening of two new sites.
In just a short time, he has played a huge role in shaping EDGE and has made a lasting impact on the business...
Stevie McCusker
After spending most of his career in coffee, Stevie joined EDGE Tea & Coffee at the beginning of 2025 in a brand-new role as Head of Coffee.
Since then, he has developed new blends, expanded our single-origin range like never before, and helped introduce our coffee cards to further elevate our brews.
Lisa Keen
Saskia Carr
Saskia has been with EDGE for the past few years, originally joining us as a barista before progressing to trainer and now Café & Store Manager.
Throughout that journey, they have consistently brought fresh ideas and energy to the team, helping to elevate both our service standards and the overall café experience to the next level.
Toby Flenley
Toby has been with EDGE for the past couple of years and is now leading the launch of two new sites.
Supporting with the design and managing both locations, he has played a key role in bringing this exciting new chapter of EDGE to life. It’s fantastic to see him helping shape the future of the business.
